Obituary for Patricia Ann Walker

Patricia Ann Walker, age 73, died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her home in Mustang after a long illness. She was born in Yakima, Washington to Frank and Grace (Palmer) Meyer on September 3, 1944. She moved to Las Vegas, NV in the early 1970’s and married Erle Walker in June of 1977. In 1979 they moved to Norman, OK where their first daughter Tina was born, in 1981 they moved to Oklahoma City where their second daughter Eldeen was born. The family moved to Mustang in 1989. Pat was the perfect softball mom to her daughters and volunteered her time at Lakehoma Elementary School in Mustang during the early 1990’s to help teach kids how to read. She loved her family, was everyone’s Mom and always helped anyone that needed help. If they needed to eat, she fed them; if they needed somewhere to sleep they could always stay at our house. She always had an open door policy and never said no to someone in need. Pat retired from food service in the mid 90’s due to failing health, became a stay at home grandmother to keep her grandbabies while their parents worked. She was preceded in death by her husband Erle, her parents and grandparents and two brothers Stanley and Terry. She is survived by two daughters Tina Moore (Blake Morris) and Eldeen Walker (Eric Hankins) all of Mustang, five grandsons, one brother Robert, one sister Jeannie and one adopted sister Grace all of Washington State. The family will be hosting a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
