Obituary for Dorothy Lee Morrow

Dorothy Lee Morrow, age 91, passed away in Mustang, Oklahoma on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 after a long illness. She was born May 1, 1928 in Seminole County, Oklahoma and moved as a small child to Harper County, Oklahoma, where her family had a farm. At age 7, due to the Dust Bowl era, her family moved back to Seminole County where her father farmed and had a dairy. Dorothy graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1946. In 1948, she met and married J. M. Morrow. The family moved to Midwest City shortly afterwards where her husband worked at Tinker. A few years later, they moved to El Reno, where her husband worked at the reformatory. Dorothy later became a lab technician and worked first at Baptist Hospital and then for Dr. William Cleaver for 28 years. Dorothy is survived by 2 sisters, Ella Stiffler, and Wilberta Wilkerson; 2 sons, James Morrow and Don Morrow; a daughter-in-law, Mary Morrow; 2 grandchildren, Rachel Morrow and Jason Morrow; and 4 great-grandchildren, Korben, Tobe, Skylar and Gage. She loved her family very much and in later years was also active in her church, First Baptist Church of Mustang. She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Funeral Service, Mustang, OK, with interment following in the Mustang Cemetery.
