Obituary for Jean Spychalski

Ada Jean Spychalski, age 87, passed away January 4, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was born on March 14, 1930 in Hobart, OK to Henry & Mary Oliver McKelvy. Jean graduated high school in Hobart & worked as a drug clerk for 30yrs in the Humpty Dumpty Pharmacy. Jean married Leon Spychalski in OKC, OK on October 3, 1950. She enjoyed singing country music with Leon & spending time with family at the lake. Jean is preceded in death by her parents & four siblings; Lloyd, Henry, Clementine Mott and Helen Banks. She is survived by her husband Leon, a daughter Shirley Hood & husband Leroy of Warr Acres; two sisters; Dorothy Rule and Velva Bond. Also by three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren & two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00am on Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. Charles Catholic Church under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, OKC, OK. Dinner will be served in Beckman Hall after the interment.
