Obituary for Helen Selena Thomas

Helen Selena Thomas, age 99, passed away September 27, 2017. Born April 26, 1918 in Geary, OK to Denny Burns and Eva Dessie Burns. Helen married Walter Thomas on October 11, 1943. Helen spent the majority of her adult life serving others as a nurse’s aide. She moved to Mustang, OK in 1986 and joined Mustang Christian Church shortly thereafter. She loved this little church with a big heart.
Helen is survived by her devoted daughter Eva Eaton and son-in-law Mitchell Eaton, of Mustang, OK; her brother Earl Burns and his wife Lillian of Central Point, OR; grandsons Tim Pendleton, Ted Pendleton, Michael Hall and Donnie Hall; great grandchildren Kylie Rudulph, Kelsey Harold, Colton Ray, Logan Pendleton, Destiny Hall and Trevar Hall, two great great grandchildren Kaden and Krew Rudulph.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; husband Walter; two sons Bill Crosley and Junior Thomas; and daughter Wanda Corbin.
The family request that memorial gifts be made to Mustang Christian Church. Funeral service will be held 10am Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Mustang Christian Church, Mustang, OK.
