Obituary for Kenneth Jerrell Bryan

Kenneth Jerrell Bryan, age 83, died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at his home in Mustang. He was born June 17, 1935 in Dallas, TX to Walter and Era Andona (Johnston) Bryan. He grew up in Seagoville, TX. Ken worked for General Motors retiring after 38 years as a Regional Service Technician. He served as a chaplain for the Mustang Police Department, deacon and sunday school teacher at Chisholm Heights Baptist. He has led numerous teams on missions’ trips to Mexico and Haiti, Baptist Disaster Relief teams wherever there was a need. Ken was a “Helper” to anyone in need. He served in the United States Navy Reserves. His greatest achievement was getting the love of his life, Nina Horton, to say I do 64 years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons; Keith Edward and Steven Trent and brother Bobby. Ken is survived by his wife Nina, two grandsons; Kent and wife Lindsey and Trent and wife Jesse, four great grandchildren; Jackson, Brenden, Weston, Leena and another girl on the way. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make donations to the CHBC Disaster Relief Fund or the Keith Bryan Memorial Scholarship Fund. Memorial Services will be 10:00am Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, Mustang, Oklahoma.
