Obituary for Arnold Wayne Irwin

Arnold Wayne Irwin, age 53, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Sulphur, OK on June 2, 1966 to Arnold & Gloria (Woods) Irwin. He is a 1985 Mustang High School graduate. Arnold worked alongside his father for many years as a land surveyor as well as having his own land surveying company. He was also an excellent salesman, hot shot driver and concrete truck driver. He married Candace McKinney in Oklahoma City on July 18, 1992. Arnold enjoyed hot rods, sports, especially OU football, Dallas Cowboys, OKC Thunder basketball, boating at Lake Eufaula and any beach. He was a little league coach for his children’s soccer, football and basketball teams. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Cindy and niece Laurie Gayle. Arnold is survived by Candace, his wife of the home; two children, Carney of Mustang; Kailey and spouse Clarissa of Moore, one granddaughter Lexa, sisters Laura, Lisa and Billie Lee. Nephews Jason, Bobby, Sheldon, Chris and Craig. Nieces Lisa Ann, Wendy and Samantha. Funeral services will be Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.
