Obituary for Albert Cravens

Albert Cravens, age 78, longtime resident of Tuttle, departed this life on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at a Norman health care facility after a short time of declining health. Al was born July 25, 1941 in Keota, OK to William and Lillie (Underwood) Cravens. He grew up in Keota, OK, graduated high school in Sarcoxie, MO and attended two years college at OCCC. Al proudly served in the US Army before beginning his career of 26 years as a dock worker for Yellow Transit. He was a longtime member of the Tuttle Masonic Lodge #405 and the Guthrie Scottish Rites. He loved car racing, four wheel racing and locksmithing. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Goldie Harp and Flonnie Kingsbury and one brother Lindsey Cravens. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Ruby of the home in Tuttle, one son Michael and wife Laura of Tuttle, three grandsons Matthew of Moore, Joshua of Edmond and Jeremy of Tuttle. Also by niece Carol Bolinger of Ft. Gibson, OK. Services will be held at 10am on Monday, November 4, 2019 in the Chapel at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK with Military Rites and interment scheduled for 10am on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
