Obituary for Stephen Wilson Cleek

Stephen Wilson Cleek was born February 15, 1961 in Denver, CO to Paul R. and Jean C. Cleek. Steve passed away August 8, 2017 at his home in Yukon, OK. During his childhood he lived in Colorado, Minnesota, and Oklahoma. Steve graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville, Ok in 1979 and attended The University of Oklahoma. He then settled in the Oklahoma City area working in retail at various locations. Steve most recently worked at Dell computer and enjoyed his time there very much. Steve had a charitable heart and a generous spirit. He loved his family and was committed to being the best father he could to his three children. Attending their various activities brought him great joy. Steve is survived by his son Tony Cleek of Lawton, his daughters Cailen Cleek and Adison Cleek of Yukon, his parents Paul R. and Jean C. Cleek, his sister Susan Thompson and her husband Russel Thompson all of San Antonio, TX. Other survivors include nephews Colin and Daniel Thompson, the mothers of his children Jana Cleek-Kitchen and Tia Ferguson, special uncle and aunt David and Natalie Ward. Also many extended family members, friends, and co-workers survive him. Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents Tony and Mildred Cleek and Orpal and Metta Ward.
Funeral service will be held 10am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 in The Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.
