Obituary for Raymond Thomas Lucy, Jr.

Raymond Thomas Lucy, Jr., age 76 died Monday, March 5, 2018. He was born April 9, 1941 in Alberta, VA to Raymond T. Lucy Sr. and Ruth Eva (Hurst) Lucy. Ray (Junior) served in the United States Army and later for the United States Air Force where he retired after 20 years. After the military, he taught air traffic control at FAA and later drove a school bus for the Mustang school system. He was a member of the Bridge Assembly of God Church in Mustang, OK. He raised horses and enjoyed trail riding and team sorting. Ray also loved to vacation in Colorado especially to ride ATV’s with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Arthur and Walter, sister Mary Ann November and brother in law Charles Gibson. Ray is survived by his wife of 55 years Reva (Nauman), son Tom and wife Carol and daughter Denise Horinek and husband Chris, grandsons; Aaron and Caleb as well as sisters; Ellen Gibson and Frances Grizzard and husband Robert. In lieu of flowers family ask donations to be made to the Jesus House of OKC and / or The Bridge Youth Camp Scholarships. Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Friday, March 9, 2018 at The Bridge Assembly of God, Mustang, OK with a private family burial at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.
