Obituary for Lydia Ann Minton

Lydia “Ann” Minton, age 91, went to be with her Lord on November 19, 2017. She was born at Mehan, Oklahoma and graduated from Ripley High School in Ripley, Oklahoma. Ann retired from Republic Supply in Oklahoma City. Ann’s parents were John W. (C.W. Cracker) and Clara B. (Retherford) Wilson. Ann was married to Monford (Whitey) Minton. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2006. Ann is also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Winfred C. Evans, Perkins, Oklahoma; Lang Allen Wilson and wife Gloria, Everett, Washington and sister Peggy E. Murlin and her husband Raymond, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Survivors are: her companion, David Tate, Yukon, Oklahoma; brothers Gary R. (Sara) Wilson, Cushing, Oklahoma; Jesse W. (Greta) Wilson, Joplin, Missouri; sister Rose Darlene (Charles) Kinzie, Arkansas City, Kansas and her sister-in-law, Clairlee Evans, Perkins, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann will be buried in Stillwater, Oklahoma next to her husband, Whitey at Fairlawn Cemetery. Services will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma with burial at 2:00pm in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
