Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Haskin

Born October 29th,1951, departed us to move into the Blessed Hope with Jesus, while in his home surrounded by many who loved him, on Tuesday March 13th, 2018. Kenny Haskin was born in Wellington, Kansas to John and Betty Haskin. Kenny was a 1969 Mustang High School Graduate where he participated in Football, Baseball, Basketball, National Honors Society and Marching Band.

After graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Kenny started his own business May Avenue Auto Salvage, then worked for UPS and finished his career with 29 years of service at Xerox.

Kenny was the proud and loving husband of Sherry Terrel Haskin for 41 years, the daddy of Kendra Haskin Hajek and Kimberley Smith (Jason Smith), and the Papa of 4 wonderful grandchildren, his pride and joy; Ryane Elizabeth, Gavin Emmett, Dason Lane, and Jacob Rex, all of Mustang, Oklahoma.

Kenny was family to many including 10 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews, and a lifelong friend to a countless number.

Kenny's life abounded in love, joy, humor, and service to others. He loved Jesus and taught his family to honor God first in all things and to love one another unconditionally.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Haskin and his brothers Pete and Toby Haskin.

Among the many, Kenny's proudest accomplishment in life was leading his family to Jesus and to a church home at The Vine in Mustang, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at The Vine, Mustang, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Vine in memorial of Kenny and his great love of his home church would be greatly appreciated.
