Obituary for Ethel Evalyn Davis

Ethel Evalyn Miller Davis, age 95, went to Heaven, March 24,2017. She was born February 26, 1922 in Cloud Chief, Ok. She was the oldest of 4 daughters born to John & Dean (Reed) Miller. In this small community Ethel had many friends & family, graduated high school & attended the PH Church where she met & married the love her life for 59 years, Rex Davis. Soon after Rex's return from the army they moved to Clinton OK, Ethel was an administrative assistant for an insurance company and operated Mistletoe Express. In 1953 they moved to Bethany OK. During their time there Ethel attended Drawings Business College, sold Avon & operated Lakeshore Florist until her retirement in 1984. Ethel was a true woman of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rex and two sisters Juanita Fay Miller & Willa Mae Kinder. Ethel is survived by two daughters and their husbands; Deloris & Don Crosswhite and Laquita & Gary Haulcomb. Also a sister Gayle Kinder of Altus, Ok; 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren & 4 great great grands. Public visitation will be Monday from 1-8pm, with family greeting from 6-8pm. Services will be Tuesday, March 28th 2017 at the Bridge A/G in Mustang, OK. Interment will be in Sappington Chapel Cemetery, Cowden, OK at 2:00pm.
