Obituary for Dorothy Mae O'Dell

Dorothy Mae O’Dell, age 85, passed away on May 13, 2018. She was born in OKC, OK on February 2, 1933 to Arnold & Lora Petty Husmann and grew up on the family farm at SW 44 & Morgan Rd. Dorothy was a 1950 graduate of Mustang High School. She worked for many years at Dayton Tire, SW Title, Midland Mortgage & was co-owner of Seal Tight Doors & Windows. Dorothy married Charles O’Dell on November 17, 1952. They are both members of Mustang United Methodist Church. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Jack and two sisters Mary Ellen and June. She is survived by one son Gary O’Dell and wife Cyndy of Mustang, two daughters Lori Brewer and husband Curtis of Mustang and Tami McMichael and husband Tim of Yukon, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters Bernice Mantooth and Dolly Priest, both of Mustang. Visitation will be from 1:00PM till 8:00PM at McNeil’s Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, May 17, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Mustang under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Mustang United Methodist Church.
